Peninsula Valdes Trip
Patagonia is simply a dream location to experience real wildness and also some dramatic wildlife photography and Peninsula Valdés is a must do trip for wildlife photographers and wildlife lovers. The coastline is inhabited by marine mammals, like sea lions, southern elephant seals and fur seals, orcas may show up at any time patrolling the coasts. Southern right whales can be found in Nuevo Gulf and San José Gulf, protected bodies of water located between the peninsula and the Patagonian mainland. These baleen whales come here between May and December, for mating and giving birth, because the water in the gulf is quieter and warmer than in the open sea, we will photograph them on board of private boats getting as close to these amazing marine mammals as a couple of meters. The inner part of the peninsula is inhabited by rheas, guanacos and maras among other animals. A high diversity and range of birds live in the peninsula as well; at least 181 bird species, 66 of which migratory, live in the area, including the Antarctic pigeon. We will focus on some of them as Peregrine falcons during nesting time, Magellanic great horned owl, Burrowing owls and Magellanic penguins during mating and nesting time.
We work within private estancias (ranch), only reserved for our guests to provide the best guide and service as possible.
Be part and a witness of this pristine and amazing place in the Argentine Patagonia.
